By SR Liz String, 2 down, 10 to go.
We understand that most of our platters are full, and attendance is not always an option, but for the record; we are asking all WOTM
Women of the Moose members stop in before our next meeting on Monday June 16th for the Social Hour.
Please bring with you, your better side, any fun filled ideas and a smile.
Those whom wish may then attend the 7:30 PM meeting.
We need YOU and graciously accept you, in Your Very OWN and Unique way, because caring should come from the heart, and it is a two-way gift.
May I remind you that the meetings are much shorter now, and much more informal with the Rituals being omitted; but we must still focus on our obligations to Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
It has been a bit ruff trying to lead the chapter in a new year, with our 3 top officers all in the hospital within the same month, and then the Moose International completely changing our whole reporting system, but I am trying and I will give you my all. I am not a quitter!!!
"Did you hand in your pink slip"? They are available in the blue book!
How girly does it get? WOTM and The Sand-Tracks are all about the Women.
The Sand-Tracks will be printed as long as it gets feedback, which of course, can be left in our blue book.
Congratulations to Kate on receiving the 2008 "International Co-Worker of the Year" award from the WOTM.
Happy birthday to the 50 girls, but to stay on their good side, the names will not be mentioned. Just a big Happy Birthday to all the June Babies!
We now announce our June WOTM "Queen of the Month" to be crowned at our Social Hour, Hello "MOM" come on down!!
Queen does sound so much better than co-worker, don't you think?
Donna, Thank you so much for stepping up to bat as Membership Retention Chairman. Welcome aboard, we need you, now look for much more work to come (only kidding) but thanks loads.
Kim, thank you also, for again extending your "always be there, offer to help" and we will be coming your way. LOOK OUT.
Rose Mary, Thank you for the last minute dinning room help, hopefully all went well, please keep us posted.
Joy will not be playing any baseball for a while, and Pat will not be running any races soon, but both are coming along better now and we wish them a speedier recovery.
June, yip-ee for you, she can now lift her arm up in the air, higher than Joy! It is great having you back. I enjoy my green tea company.
Flossy, thank you for being there with the pen; I see and appreciate you.
Walt, Thank you Governor, Chief Cook and Bottle Washer, for all the great Grub, Congratulations; It's Now You & Me Babe, lets get this show on the road!
