(Little tid bits of information)
By Liz String
Hello Sisters (members, expired members, &/or soon 2B members):
My name is Liz String and I am your 2008 Senior Regent. I wish to dedicate my term to my dear friend, Nancy Brinnen,
who's wholeheartedly intentions from the get go, were to put me here. She succeeded!
Congratulations to Marceen on the wonderful job of Senior Regent last
year, and getting us through it!! It was quite a learning experience, to say the
least, but you took the Bull by the Horns, and we Thank -You!
WOTM will have many huge changes taking place this year, and I hope
that more of you can be here for them. The meetings are much shorter, and
much more informal. Rituals have been omitted, but we must still focus on the
needs of Mooseheart, Moosehaven, & our own community.
We also understand, that the demands of modern day life do not always
allow time for meetings, but we still do need (so much) and appreciate any
involvement and support that you can offer. And Thank You!
I have set 2 goals for this year, YOU are needed to accomplish them!!.
A member's information update book has been left in the social quarters
(also in the WOTM office) and we are asking that YOU all update one; with
your cell # and email addy. We will put together an "email list" for events, and a
"phone tree" for those not on line. If you have rio new information; will you
"please" comment beside your name, so that we know we have contacted you?
If you cannot find your name; will you please comment so in the yellow
pages section of the book? I will get back to you, please give all pertinent infor .
You may also give any of your updated information to Kate, Donna (chair-
membership committee), or me; and please email any comments, complaints,
or suggestions to: LIZTAYLOR@comcast.net
Here is a Big Thank You so much to the same dozen women whom always
show up, and that we can always count on; Pat, Joy, Flossy, June, Joyce, Gloria,
& Camilla; plus a SPECIAL THANKS: TO Mary Lou for all the reefs and
fund raising; TO Mom for all the dinning room help (especially the coffee) and
keeper of the door; and To Kate for all the extra hours slaving between the
kitchen & dinning room (a list of the women's volunteer hours in the lodge will
soon be kept, just for the record) ..
Plus another thank-you to Kate for her holiday spirits ( all the beautiful
uplifting holiday decorating she does) more volunteer hours! She really cares!
Thank You Big Time also to Kathy, for her excellent job at the Officer's
Installation Ceremony: and I will follow her wise advice on how to skillfully
"Make It Happen" by delegating out all our tasks, to the members.
Therefore; what better way to start then with her; and so-be-it, she is assigned
the phone tree, which she also says is much needed.
